I love working with words. And pictures. Not so hot on numbers though. That’s probably why I’m not an accountant.
I’ve worked in public relations for more than 16 years and get a buzz from helping organisations communicate well. It’s all about understanding your needs, your audience needs, and bringing these together to create a meaningful and useful dialogue.
Previously head of communications for a Bristol regeneration programme, I decided to take the plunge and set up as a freelancer back in 2003 and I haven’t looked back since. I now provide freelance support for charities, local authorities and businesses, from household names to SMEs and sole traders.

I am based in the beautiful Mendips in Somerset, within easy reach of Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire. I live here with my husband and two young daughters.
I’m also slightly obsessed with food. When I’m not copy writing for clients or cooking, you’ll find me blogging about food – the kind of tasty comfort food I make for my family – over at Bangers & Mash.
